Todd Christensen, DMD, MS
Dr. Todd Christensen has practiced orthodontics since 2014 and has treated more than 10,000 cases involving children, teens and adults. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, completed a hospital residency at the University of Utah and earned his Master of Science in Dental Medicine while completing orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado. He has published peer-reviewed research, completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Christensen speaks Spanish and lives in South Jordan with his wife and four children.

Your first orthodontic consultation should give you clear answers. Dr. Christensen will listen to your goals, evaluate your teeth and bite, and explain which treatment options are appropriate. Digital X-rays and scanning help our team plan tooth movement and show you what we see. You will receive an individualized recommendation, realistic expectations and practical guidance for caring for braces or aligners. Throughout treatment, we monitor progress, make adjustments when needed and answer questions without rushing. Second-opinion evaluations are also available for patients who want another perspective.

Our team works to make every visit organized, comfortable and easy to understand. From scheduling and check-in to progress visits, you will meet professionals who respect your time and answer questions clearly. Clinical team members focus on cleanliness, patient comfort and careful attention throughout treatment. We teach children, teens and adults how to care for braces, aligners and retainers between visits. Spanish communication is available when helpful. If a bracket breaks, an aligner is lost or something feels unusual, our team will explain what to do next and help you protect your progress.

Digital Scanning and In-Office 3D Printing
Our Dexis intraoral scanner creates detailed digital models without traditional impression material. Digital X-rays and treatment planning help Dr. Christensen evaluate tooth position, explain the bite and plan individual movements. In-office 3D printing also allows our team to create retainers and certain appliances without relying on an outside laboratory.
Clear Guidance From Start to Finish
Orthodontic decisions affect schedules, budgets and daily routines. We explain the recommended treatment, available alternatives and patient responsibilities before care begins. You will receive written financial information and clear next steps. If your treatment needs change, our team will explain why and review the updated plan with you.
Specialty Training and Clinical Experience
Dr. Christensen has practiced orthodontics since 2014 and has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education, with approximately 90% focused on orthodontics. His experience includes early treatment, braces, clear aligners, relapse and complex bite concerns. He combines detailed correction with careful attention to smile appearance and long-term stability.
